La Compagnie Minière de Musonoie Global Société par Actions Simplifiée (COMMUS) in DR Congo owns two mining rights, covering an area of 3.359 km², including two sections in Kolwezi and Noyka.

COMMUS is a successful example that innovatively adopted Chinese construction practices in Africa. Phase I construction was completed in 2 years, 6 months ahead of schedule. And it only took 9 months to complete Phase II, embodying the Zijin Speed of mine construction in Africa. The entire project has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of copper and 3,000 tonnes of cobalt.

COMMUS is one of the founding members of the China Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility in Africa.
