Ms. Wu holds a BA from Shandong University. She is a translator and a senior economist.

She served in various roles at Xiamen C&D Group from 1982 to 2018, including staff member, department manager, deputy general manager, executive deputy general manager, general manager, deputy secretary of the party committee, secretary of the party committee, and chair of the Board.

She served as Deputy to the 12th Fujian Provincial People’s Congress, Member of the 8th Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Deputy to the 14th Xiamen Municipal People’s Congress, and Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th Xiamen Municipal People’s Congress.

She has received numerous honors, including the Fujian May 1st Labor Medal, National Model Worker, National Outstanding Female Role Model, and National Outstanding Business Leader. She was also listed as one of Fortune China’s 50 Most Influential Business Leaders and one of Fortune China’s 25 Most Influential Women in Business.

Ms. Wu began to serve at Zijin Mining in December 2022 and brings extensive experience in managing large state-owned companies.
