The Rosebel Gold Mine is one of South America's largest producing gold mines.
The project owns two major mining concessions- a 100% interest in the Rosebel Gold Mine and a 70% participating interest in the Saramacca Gold Mine. It also has nine exploration rights covering an area of around 788 square kilometers. The Rosebel property contains seven deposits and several satellites. The mineralized trend remains open on strike and at depth, with great potential to add further gold resources.
According to the NI 43-101 report prepared by Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. (RGM), SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. (SRK), and WSP Canada Inc. (WSP), as of the end of 2021 (on a 100% basis), the total mineral resources estimate of the Rosebel Gold Mine Project was 196 million tonnes, with an average grade of 1.11 g/t Au for 6.992 million ounces of gold metal. Among these, four deposits have resources of over 1 million ounces each. Reserves include seven deposits and low-grade ore piles, totaling 3.829 million ounces of gold metal at an average grade of 1.09 g/t Au.
