At Zijin Mining, we are actively engaged in the fight against climate change. Minerals such as copper play a crucial role in the energy transition.

We are the only mining company in China and Asia with an annual copper production of more than a million tonnes. We are also one of the world’s top four copper producers and among the fastest-growing in terms of mined copper volumes.

We are committed to cleaner, more sustainable and responsible copper production. We have three world-class copper mining complexes in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Serbia, and Xizang, China. These bases are undergoing extensive expansion and technological upgrades to boost copper output.

Additionally, we own a number of medium-sized and large copper mines, as well as copper smelters and refineries that process the products of our mines. Zijin brand copper products are registered on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and the London Metal Exchange (LME). Our subsidiary, Zijin Copper Co., Ltd, is an accredited silver refiner with the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
