Mr. Shaoyang Shen joined Zijin in 2014 and has served as Head of the Overseas Operations Department and Managing Director of Barrick (Niugini) Ltd (Porgera JV) before being appointed Vice President and becoming a leadership member of the Group in 2019.

Mr. Shen possesses extensive experience in mining operations management and cross-border M&A. He graduated from Xiamen University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada.
