On February 5, Zijin Mining held an awards ceremony and a session for “stories of dedication”, to honor our outstanding teams and employees (including our contractors and their employees) in 2020. Lai Guihua, General Manager of Duobaoshan Copper, and Wu Jianhui, General Manager of Tibet Julong Copper, were given “special merit” awards.

Chairman Chen Jinghe said the award winners have set great examples for us, and have demonstrated Zijin’s excellent corporate culture and ethos of innovation. We need to learn from them and salute them. Still, there are many unsung heroes contributing to the development of our Group. We also express our deep respect for them.

He stressed that employees should carry forward Zijin’s excellent corporate culture, and keep up the good work. He called on each and every employee to play an active part in our drive to develop the Group into an international mining giant powered by high technology and profitability.
