Zijin Jumped 311 Spots to No.1069 in the list of Forbes Global 2000

Recently, The Forbes published the list of The Global 2000 Companies In 2015. Zijin Mining Group (“Zijin”or”the Company”) jumped 311 spot to No.1069, and it is the only one Chinese ld enterprise in the list. There are other three overseas ld enterprises in the list, there are: Newmont Mining (No.891), Barrick ld (No.895), ldcorp (No.1268).

There are other four listed companies in Fujian coming into the list, among which Industrial Bank Co.,Ltd ranked No.73, J&D Inc.ranked No.1022, Hengan Group ranked No.1461, and Industrial Securities ranked No.1648.

The FORBES Global 2000 is a comprehensive list of the world’s largest, most powerful public companies, as measured by revenues, profits, assets and market value. It uses a composite score that weighs those four metrics equally, as one barometer alone would present a biased and incomplete account.

In 2014, at the back drop of continuous price downturn in ld and base metals, Zijin realized a double-digit growth in net profit of 2.346 billion Yuan (equivalent to USD 381.79 million), an increase of 10.34% when compared with the same period of last year; the sales revenue reached 58.76 billion Yuan (equivalent to USD 9.56 billion), an increase of 18.6%; the total assets amounted to 75.126 billion Yuan (equivalent to USD 12.23 billion), an increase of 12.3%.
