Zijin Ranks 947 on World’s Largest Public Companies List

Forbes recently released the Global 2000 list of World’s Largest Public Companies. Zijin Mining ranked 947 on the list. There are 37 nonferrous metals companies on the list, including 6 gold companies. Zijin ranked no.14 among those 37 nonferrous metals companies, and ranked second among the 6 gold companies.

Among the 37 nonferrous metals companies, Zijin’s sales ranked 10th, profits ranked 23rd, and its assets ranked 27th, and market value ranked 16th.

Forbes compiles its Global 2000 list using data from FactSet Research systems to screen for the biggest public companies in four metric: sales, profits, assets and market value. Its market value calculation is as of May 11, 2018, closing prices and includes all common shares outstanding.
