Zijin ranked No. 889 on the Forbes 2000 - 1st among Global Gold Companies and Chinese Nonferrous Companies

Zijin News May 16th-Forbes released "GLOBAL 2000-The World's Largest Public Companies", Zijin Mining ranked 889th, up 58 places from last year, ranking 10th in global non-ferrous metals companies, 1st among global gold companies and Chinese nonferrous companies.

The list shows that Zijin Mining ranks 10th among the 33 global nonferrous companies, up 4 places from the previous year, while Zijin ranks 1st among the 4 global gold companies on the list, followed by Barrick, Newmont and Goldcorp.

Among the domestic nonferrous enterprises listed together with zijin, China Hongqiao ranks 921th, CHALCO 924th, Jiangxi Copper 1227th, Luoyang Molybdenum 1270th and Tongling Nonferrous 1938th.

The Forbes uses four indicators (sales, profits, assets and market value) of the same weight, to rank the size of listed companies. The market value is calculated with the closing price on April 18, 2019. This is Forbes’ 17th annual ranking of the world’s largest public companies, the top ten enterprises contains five Chinese companies, four U.S. companies, a Dutch company.
