Zijin News May 13th Forbes released the Global 2000 list of World’s Largest Public Companies, Zijin Mining ranked 778 on the list, up 111 places from last year. There are 30 non-ferrous metals companies on the list, including 9 gold companies，Zijin ranked 9 among those non-ferrous metals companies, and ranked 3 among those gold companies.
In 2019, Zijin Mining's overseas project operating capacity has been improved and the production momentum has been continuously released. Zijin Mining realised an operating income of RMB136.098 billion, net profit attributable to owners of the parent was RMB4.284 billion. As at the end of December 2019, the Group’s total assets was RMB123.831 billion. Zijin Mining completed the public issuance of A Shares, raising RMB8 billion and the financial structure was significantly optimised.
Forbes compiles its Global 2000 list using data from FactSet Research systems to screen for the biggest public companies in four metric: sales, profits, assets and market value.
