Zeravshan, a subsidiary of Zijin Mining, recently received the "Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Protection Award" from Sughd Province, Tajikistan, as well as independent verification of its 100% green energy-sourced operations .

The "Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Protection Award" recognizes companies with significant environmental contributions. Since 2024, Zeravshan has cultivated over 3,000 trees and flowers and added over 100,000 square meters of green space around the mine and plant, earning high praise from Tajikistan's government.

Zeravshan also obtained independent verification  of its use of green energy, confirming that its entire operations run on 100% renewable energy from hydropower. This ensures compliance with carbon reduction standards, providing peace of mind to its customers.
