
On October 11, Serbia Zijin Copper, a subsidiary of Zijin Mining, launched the 2024 Donation for Majdanpek’s Underprivileged Families in collaboration with the City Government of Majdanpek, in anticipation of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. This initiative, part of the “2024 Community Plan for Bor-Majdanpek Joint Development,” provided shopping vouchers for 155 individuals from 42 poor households in Majdanpek.
Elvira Jovanović, Deputy Mayor of Majdanpek, praised Serbia Zijin Copper for driving the city’s economic development, creating jobs, and actively engaging in social responsibilities, expressing gratitude for the company’s generous support to the city’s impoverished families.
During the ceremony, the Red Cross awarded a letter of appreciation to Serbia Zijin Copper for its contributions.
