
On 31 December 2025, Zijin Mining completed its leadership transition following the election of the company’s ninth Board of Directors at its second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025.
At the inaugural meeting of the ninth Board, Mr. Zou Laichang was elected Chairman, and a new management team was appointed, with Mr. Lin Hongfu as President. The new Board and management will steer Zijin as it strives to become a top global mining company.
In recognition of the significant contribution of its founder, Mr. Chen Jinghe, the Board has appointed Mr. Chen as Lifetime Honorary Chairman and Senior Advisor. This arrangement has been formalized in the company’s Articles of Association.
