Ms. Wu holds a BA from Shandong University. She is a translator and a senior economist.

She has rich experience in managing large SOEs. From 1982 to 2018, she served as staff member, department manager, deputy general manager, executive deputy general manager, general manager, deputy secretary of the party committee, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of Xiamen C&D Group Co., Ltd.

She is currently an external director of Xiamen Iport Group Co. and a director of Xiamen Ren’ai Foundation. She served as a deputy to the 12th Fujian Provincial People’s Congress, member of the 8th Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Committee and a deputy to the 14th Xiamen Municipal People's Congress.

She was awarded the May Day Labor Medal of Fujian Province, National Model Worker, National Outstanding Women, National Outstanding Entrepreneur, Fortune China’s 50 Most Influential Business Leaders and Fortune China’s Top 25 Most Influential Business Women.

She began to hold positions in Zijin Mining from December, 2022.
