The Ashele Copper Mine is a large, non-ferrous metal deposit with a daily throughput of 6000 tonnes.
In 2002, Zijin Mining acquired a 51% interest in the Ashele Copper Mine and became the operator of the project.
The project upholds the principle of balanced development among the company, its employees, and society. Through responsible mining practices, it attracts talent, facilitates transportation, and contributes to local tax revenue. The project actively engages in rural revitalization efforts, social welfare initiatives, charitable endeavors, and educational programs. Additionally, it played an active role in disaster relief efforts, including earthquake, flood, and snowstorm relief.
It was recognized by the government as a National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site, a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction and a National Green Mine.
