    Zijin Mining is advancing the project’s feasibility studies.

  • M&A

    In March 2023, Zijin Mining and Xanadu Mines signed Phase 2 and 3 investment agreements for the acquisition of the Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia. Following the sale of its shares in Xanadu Mines on June 13, 2025, Zijin Mining retains a 38.25% effective interest in the project. The company has been the operator of the Kharmagtai project since September 2024.

ESG

Since the early stages of exploration, Kharmagtai has launched various community programs. These include supporting local small businesses in producing workwear, providing hay to herders in the spring, organizing wellness programs for the elderly, renovating kindergartens, and sponsoring small-scale Naadam festival celebrations.
