ESG

Guizhou Zijin works continuously to strengthen its technological capabilities. To tackle the world-class challenge of processing Shuiyindong’s refractory gold ore —characterized by high arsenic, sulfur and carbon content, as well as extremely fine grain size—the company independently developed China’s first pressure oxidation equipment for gold extraction. This breakthrough addressed key technical challenges in solid-liquid-gas reactions under conditions of high temperature, high pressure and high acidity, and enabled the industrial application of pressure oxidation in China’s gold sector. The technology has been assessed as world-leading.

Guizhou Zijin is recognized as a high-tech company and as one of China’s first group of leading mining companies for the efficient recovery of mineral resources. Its Shuiyindong Gold Mine has been designated a National Green Mine in China.
