  • Project Overview

    As a large non-ferrous metals smelting company in China, Bayannur Zijin mainly produces zinc ingot and sulfuric acid, and recovers associated minerals such as copper, lead, silver, and cobalt. Bayannur Zijin has obtained ISO QMS, EnMS, OHSMS, and EMS certifications, and the “Integration of Information Technology and Industrialization” certification. It has also passed the third-party RMI audit and has submitted a report to the LME.

    In cooperation with Bgrimm Technology Group, Bayannur Zijin has completed the “Key Technologies and Equipment for Clean Zinc Smelting and Efficient Recovery” project, earning the second prize of the “National Science and Technology Progress Award”.

    Bayannur Zijin Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. was founded in 2004. Zijin Mining holds an 87.28% interest in the company.

ESG

Committed to development for all and green, low-carbon and sustainable development, Bayannur Zijin has been driving a transition to clean energy of its equipment which consume coal, water, electricity, gasoline, or coke. It also produces solar power and repurposes waste heat to save energy and reduce emissions. Phase I of its distributed solar power generation project has been completed and connected to the grid.

Bayannur Zijin has received multiple honors and awards, such as “National Green Plant”, “Clean Production Demonstration Company in National Key Industries”, “National Civilized Entity”, “National Model Company in Harmonious Labor Relations”, “Advanced Entity in China’s Non-ferrous Metals Industry”, and “National Worker Pioneer”.
