Zijin’s 200,000 Tons Copper Smelting Project Receives the Honor of China’s “Water and Soil Conservation & Ecological Civilization Project”

On December 11th,Zijin’s200,000 tons copper smelting project receives the honor of China’s “Water and Soil Conservation & Ecological Civilization Project”, being the first winner of this honor in the entire domestic nonferrous metal industry.

During construction and production, the project implements a strict water and soil conservation plan and makes an excellent performance in execution, supervision, landscaping and environmental protection.

“Water and Soil Conservation & Ecological Civilization Project” is a general designation of all leading water and soil conservation areas. Ever since the formation of review mechanism, the award has been given to multiple national key projects, such as Three Gorges Dam and Beijing-Shijiazhuang Emergency Water Supply Project in South-North Water Transfer.
