Zijin Strives for Further Development of Mining Investment Strategy in Australia

Fang Qixue, Executive Director, Vice President and Chief Engineer of Zijin Mining Group Ltd, met with Mr. Bill Marmion West Australian Minister of Finance, Mines and Petroleum in Perth, Australia on August 6. Both sides exchanged views on Western Australia’s mining investment policy and its trends.

Mr. Bill Marmion referred that the vernment will keep the investment policy relatively stable, and as one of the regions with best performance in global economy, Western Australia is believed to embrace prosperity in mining industry in the future.

Fang said the investment Zijin made in Australia is the milestone in company’s internationalization, and Zijin will continue and keep to its investment strategy in Australia while seeking for further development opportunities.
