Recently, Forbes released the list of 2016 Global 2000 Companies. Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd (“Zijin”), together with other world renowned mining companies including BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto, marked No.9 on the top 10 global metal & mining companies list.

As the world-recognized authoritative ranking list, Forbes Global 2000 adopts data from FactSet Research systems to screen for the biggest public companies in four metrics: sales, profits, assets and market capital.

The profits of Aluminum Corporation of China (“Chinalco”) and Zijin are both recorded earnings. Meanwhile, Zijin’s sales revenue reaches 11.7 billion USD, net profit amounts to 266 million USD, and the total asset and the market value amounts to 12.9 billion USD and 9.7 billion USD respectively.
