Zijin News - On December 30, Zijin Mining convened its First Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2022 at its headquarters, during which the company’s new Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee were elected. A new senior management was appointed after the meeting.

During the first meetings of the two newly elected governance bodies, Chen Jinghe was elected as Chairman of the Board, and Lin Shuiqing Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. Zou Laichang was subsequently appointed as President of the company.

The elections brought fresh blood to company leadership while ensuring its stability. In particular, a female director and a female supervisor were elected, leading to better alignment with international ESG standards.

They are loyal to the company, responsible and dedicated to their work. During the EGM, it was concluded that they will lead the company to achieve sustainable development and scale new heights in the next three years.
