On August 28, Zijin Mining was once again selected as a constituent of the Hang Seng (China A) Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Zijin has held its position in the index, thanks to its outstanding performance in sustainable development.
The Hang Seng (China A) Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index is an important index in the capital market, comprising companies listed in the Chinese mainland with the strongest performance in sustainable development. The selection process for the constituent stocks is rigorous. An independent and professional assessment body is engaged to evaluate companies based on seven core indicators, including corporate governance, human rights, environment, and community involvement and development. Only the top 10% of companies with the highest performance scores are included in the index.
