Recently, the Fujian Federation of Trade Unions selected 16 institutions to be named as “Fujian Craftsman Academies,” and Zijin Mining’s Craftsman Academy was honored with this recognition. This distinction acknowledges the company’s significant efforts in building and developing skilled workforce.
Established in 2023 by the company’s trade union and human resources department, the Zijin Mining Craftsman Academy utilizes the company’s extensive training resources and infrastructure. The academy offers a range of training programs, including online courses through the iLearning platform, as well as in-person sessions at the School of Geology and Mining of Fuzhou University, Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine, and Zijin Copper. The curriculum covers key areas such as geology, mining, beneficiation, metallurgy, safety, and environmental protection, ensuring a broad and deep skill set for employees.
The academy has developed a robust and systematic framework for education and career development, offering three distinct pathways: administrative management, business management, and technical expertise. This structure effectively supports employees’ skill development needs while helping them realize their full potential.
