On November 28, Zijin decided to donate HK$20 million to support immediate fire rescue and relief, temporary resettlement, and reconstruction efforts for the affected residents, in response to the devastating fire that broke out recently at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong.
The Tai Po fire caused heavy casualties and property losses, drawing widespread public attention. To help restore normalcy as quickly as possible, Zijin announced the donation. The move reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility and its readiness to take concrete action in times of crisis.
Zijin upholds its mission of Mining for a Better Society. The company will monitor the developments closely and work alongside all sectors of society to help the affected communities weather this difficult time and rebuild.
