On July 12, the summer holiday practice event, “Gutian Dream of Startups”, was launched for college students at the education practice base in Shanghang. This is the first time for the practice base to be open to all college students in Fujian Province. The event helps promote communication and cooperation among college students, build an innovative platform for practice study for college students, and stimulate local economic and social development.

The Zijin Mining College of Fuzhou University’s educational practice base in Shanghang was awarded the title of “National Engineering Practice Education Center” in 2012 and was certified as the Social Practice base for Fujian College Students in that same year. Its national core laboratory, which studies the “comprehensive utilization of low-grade and refractory ld resources”, passed acceptance in 2014. The lab has been listed among the top 20 social practice bases for college students in Fujian Province.

During its’ three years of operation, the practice base has taken advantage of the cooperation between Fuzhou University and Zijin Mining, and cumulatively has accepted more than 30 teams, over 500 people in total.
