  • The company was honored for its talent attraction and commitment to nurturing recent graduates for promising careers.

  •  It has selected and trained 211 high-potential young employees, with more than 100 of them having been promoted.

On November 16, 2023, LinkedIn China unveiled the MostIn Awards winners, with Zijin Mining standing out as one of the esteemed Global Graduate Magnet Employers.

The list of Global Graduate Magnet Employers is the result of a rigorous analysis by LinkedIn’s Data Science team. Utilizing a database of 870 million global users, the team assessed Chinese companies’ global recruitment initiatives over the past year.

Their evaluation focused on three dimensions: employer brand recognition and likeability, talent attraction and recruitment, and talent retention.

Chosen companies are recognized as leaders in discovering, attracting, and developing young, globally minded professionals, while also propelling the career advancement of graduates from China and beyond.

Committed to nurturing young employees

Zijin Mining is not only committed to fostering a diverse, fair, inclusive, and safe work environment but also to hiring and cultivating young employees.

From November 7 to 10, the company held the first round of training for members of its 2023 Outstanding Young Professionals Program at its headquarters in Shanghang, Fujian. Twenty-eight individuals from various business segments were immersed in courses spanning cross-cultural communication, finance, human resources, and macro trends in the mining industry.

To date, Zijin has selected and trained 211 members of 6 similar programs, providing young professionals with extensive opportunities for career growth. More than a hundred of them have been promoted to higher positions, and nearly half have been sent to the company’s overseas projects.

Notably, on August 28, Zijin was also included in Forbes China’s list of Best Employer in ESG Practices for 2023.
