Representatives of Zijin Mining attended the first International Investment Mining and Metallurgical Forum and Exhibition of Tajikistan, which was held in Dushanbe from October 29 to 30. At the event, Mr. Wang Chun, Zijin’s Vice President, delivered a speech titled “Science and Technology Underpin Zijin’s Success: Zijin’s Innovation-driven Development”.

Wang Chun highlighted the effective application of the company’s Five-Pronged Mining Engineering Model in major mines globally. He said that Zijin has industry-leading technological expertise and practical experience in geological exploration, mining, recovery of minerals from low-grade and refractory ores, and environmental protection. It also possesses competitive advantages in project investment and cost control. The company has developed a path for green, low-carbon, and sustainable mining. Mr. Wang noted that Zijin values its project in Tajikistan and is ready to deepen cooperation with partners in the country.

At the exhibition, Zijin Mining showcased its global achievements at its booth.

The event was held with support from Tajikistan’s Ministry of Industry and New Technologies and the Department of Geology. It featured officials from China’s Ministry of Natural Resources and industry ministers from over 15 countries, including Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Russia. Representatives from more than 50 multinational companies engaged in mining, metallurgy, and investment also attended the gathering.
