On July 10th, Mr. Yang Wei, a staff from Bayannaoer Zijin Co., Ltd., saw some children playing on a drainage channel. He came up and asked them to leave, but found that tragedy had happened. Without any hesitation, Yang jumped into the water directly and saved the drowning child. The child was given artificial respiration by Yang and other passers-by.
When Yang was told there was another child still in the water, Yang immediately jumped into the water again, and dived 2 meters in depth to search and try to rescue the child. When Yang carried the child out of the water, police and ambulance had arrived. Two drowning children were sent to the hospital right away,. However, only one child survived after emergency rescue. Mr. Yang’s conduct was highly praised by the policemen and ambulance crew.
On July 13th, together with his mother, the rescued kid sent a pennant to Mr. Yang Wei to thank him. Meanwhile, Yang’s inspiring behavior was widely reported by media and also commended by the company and the society.
