Children’s Day Highlights: Zijin’s Subsidiaries Hold Activities for Kids

On the 74th International Children’s Day, Zijin Mining’s global operations organized various events for children from host communities and employees’ families, ensuring a joyful and meaningful celebration. 

In Tajikistan, Zeravshan employees visited local schools and kindergartens, delivering festive greetings, flower baskets, school supplies, and chocolates to children, and honoring dedicated teachers. 

Longxing, together with the government of Tonchinsky District in Russia’s Tuva Republic, visited fifty community families, giving children toys, school supplies, and sweets, and listening to their dreams and stories.

Zijin Copper reached out to children from four local schools, bringing them holiday greetings, school bags and stationery, and enjoying cultural performances with them. They also hosted a "School Open Day", inviting 38 Young Pioneers and employees’ children to the site of its operations.

In Tibet, Xianglong Mining visited three kindergartens and a primary school, offering children school bags, drinks, and bread as gifts.


Bayannur Zijin, a smelter operator based in Inner Mongolia, invited employees’ families for a visit and parent-child bonding activities, showcasing sustainable and intelligent metallurgy.

Luoyang Zijin Yin Hui and Luoning Zijin held a family open day themed “A Day in the Life at Zijin,” with 39 children exploring the production sites where their parents work and engaging in parent-child activities.

West Copper visited the Guoluo Prefectural Children’s Home, providing school supplies and spending a joyful day with 32 children.
