From March 1 to 4, leading global metals miner Zijin participated in the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention 2026 in Toronto. The company used this premier platform to showcase its global portfolio and deepen ties with industry players.
At its booth, the company spotlighted its global portfolio in gold, copper, and other energy transition metals, alongside updates on key projects and operations. Representatives from mining companies, investment institutions, and government agencies visited the Zijin booth to exchange views and explore opportunities for cooperation.
During the convention, Zijin representatives also spoke at the “Kazakhstan Day” and “Suriname Day” sessions, introducing the company’s investments and operations in the two countries. They also shared experiences in project development and operational management, and expressed confidence in deepening cooperation and growing Zijin’s business in these nations.
The PDAC convention, one of the largest and most influential gatherings in the global mining industry, attracted more than 30, 000 participants this year. Attendees included representatives from mining companies, government agencies, and financial institutions worldwide, as well as industry experts.
